Taunted

I think the department cleaner in the building that I work in is taunting me and my fellow colleagues. I think "Cleaners' 101" states that cleaners working or intending to work in the opposite sex toilets must leave enough cleaning utensils and products outside the toilet door to let potential bladder or bowel emptying clientel know to cross their legs and wait for the all clear.

Our cleaner flaunts this rule in our face by leaving ALL her cleaning implements unattending outside the department log-dropping facilities throughout the ENTIRE working day. This is absurd! It is becoming a great annoyance to me in times of desperation as the only alternative is to make the arduous and sanitarily perilous journey to lower standard facilities on the other side of the building.

The annoying thing is that half the time, when you think she is cleaning the toilets, you actually bump into her shambling around the department corridors - oblivious to your frustration.

SPAM - not the eggs and chips variety

Well I've just received my first spammer - my Spiderman 3 post just got a comment about viagra. I shan't delete it. Future ones yes, but this one is historic and thus remains. I had followed the blogger guidelines and turned on Word Verification to get rid of those pesky wobots... but human spammers, with their high single digit IQ's, are just too clever for that! It is possible to moderate all future comments - but I don't want that strict a control over comments as you have to review each and every post before its accepted. Surely there must be a way of editing after its been posted?

On a terribly sad note, when I first started to read the comment I honestly thought someone found my blog funny. It was only the very last sentence which dashed my hopes and brought me crashing back down to Earth.
